Set theory symbols

{ }
Set is the collection of all member elements in a set.
EXAMPLE: { 1, 2, 3, ..., 10}

A U B
Union in A, B or in both.
EXAMPLE: If,
A = {1, 2, 3, 4}, and
B = {2, 4, 6, 8}. Then,
A U B = {1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8}

A ∩ B
Intersection in both A and B.
EXAMPLE: If,
A = {1, 2, 3, 4}, and
B = {2, 4, 6, 8}. Then,
A ∩ B = {2, 4}

Formula = \(6 * a^2\).
Where,
a = the length of a side.
Unit of measurement = square unit, e.g \(cm^2\)
